Almond flour is a superfood, it’s low-carb and far more nutritious than most other flours you can find. I’m incredibly passionate about almond flour! It’s also a great choice for us because it has fewer carbohydrates, and more protein than wheat flour itself, as you can see in the table below.

  1. I made the latest version of Simple Bread, but it was so thick to put in the tin! It certainly wasn’t a batter. Then it came out really dense…I followed the recipe perfectly! Are you sure its 2.5 cups of almond flour? Toasted very nicely though.

  2. Hi Elena
    Been a fan for many years… many of your recipes are staples in our home. Then, a discovery…. looks like my 8 year old may be having an issue with almonds (and several other nuts) but not PECANS. I plan to play around with some of your recipes with pecan flour…. I’m guessing you may not have any experience with this substation but if you do or if you have any advice that comes to mind I’d love to hear!
