what are “nightshades”?
Nightshade is a family of plants that include bell peppers & hot peppers, potatoes, eggplant, tomatoes & others. Many folks avoid nightshades that are dealing w/autoimmune disorders as nightshades are known to cause inflammation and digestive issues.
Love the turkey burger idea and so simple! Thanks for not using eggs or bread crumbs to bind it in the recipe so that I can try it without having to amend it. My favorite 4th of July recipe is cherry pie with a walnut flour crust. Yum! Have a great weekend!
Elana- Thanks for all the great recipes. I always tell people to go on your site. You do a great job making foods we love gluten free. I’ve made these cookies and they will not disappoint any cookie lover.
