These crackers are soooo good, I have to portion them out so I don’t eat the whole batch. I am so grateful for a cracker recipe that hits the spot when I want to have a little snack! Thank you for creating such amazing recipes. This one was so easy and quick to make.
Elana says
Eva, thanks for letting me know this cracker recipe is easy to make and hits the spot!
Sarah says
Can these be made on a silpat or silicone baking sheet instead of parchment paper? Thanks!
Elana says
Sarah, I haven’t tried that so not sure :-)
Olena says
I just made them using a silpat. I rolled the mixture between two silpats. Works great!
Thanks so much for this recipe. I agree with Eva, I think it will be hard to eat just a few they are so tasty!!!
They are also very easy to make.
Elana says
Olena, you’re welcome! Thanks for letting me know these are so tasty :-)

Hello Elana,
I LOVE the cracker recipe! It is so easy and perfect for soup night at our house. Today, instead of the egg I tried adding a mixture of 1Tbs flax meal and 3Tbs water. The crackers came out crispier and less oily. Wow!! This would be great for those with egg allergies. I’m looking forward to trying some more of your recipes.
Elana says
Sarah, thanks for letting me know you LOVE this recipe :-)

Awesome

This is such a good go-to recipe. I’ve made it approximately a million times, and it never fails to work. It’s a perfect base cracker recipe, and you can change it up by adding herbs or other flavorings.
To those asking about alternatives to using a food processor… a stand mixer works, too. I have made these a bunch of times using a food processor, but tried a stand mixer on my last batch and they came out perfectly. In fact, the stand mixer allowed me to make a double-batch because my mixer bowl holds a lot more than my food processor. Yay for more crackers!
Elana says
MB, thanks for letting me know how much you are enjoying this recipe!
Naomi says
These are great. I so need chips and crunchy ‘wheat thins’. I used black sesame seeds and savory spices. I didn’t have a rolling pin so I used a drink bottle and they came out a little thicker in the middle and cakey which I liked! I’ll have to get that ‘everything but the bagel’ seasoning for the next batch. Thanks for the recipe.
Elana says
Naomi, nice improvisations! So happy to hear you are enjoying this recipe :-)
Naomi says
Thank you. I made them again and thinner and they were purrfect.
Elana says
Naomi, you’re welcome!
Cyd says
These are delicious! I topped mine with Trader Joe’s Everything but the Bagel seasoning and they turned out fantastic!
Elana says
Cyd, thanks for letting me know these are fantastic :-)
Cisco says
Are these crackers Whole30 compliant?
Elana says
Cisco, all of the ingredients in them are Whole30 compliant, but are not part of the Whole30 diet since it does not include breads and crackers. Here’s a link to my Whole30 Recipes page for you:

Carla says
I live in France can you tell me how many grams is a cup?
Elana says
Carla, thanks for your comment! That is a great question and dependent on the contents of the cup. Heavy materials will way more while taking up the same amount of space, lighter materials will weigh less :-)
Lam says
I weighed my cup of superfine almond flour and it equaled 98 grams.
Ashley says
What if you don’t have a food processor?
Elana says
Ashley, I haven’t tried that so not sure. If you do please let us know how it goes :-)
Angela says
Just made these. Delicious. Would be nice with Italian herbs or garlic salt.
I didn’t want to be bothered with the food processor, so just mixed by hand. Very easy and turned out perfectly.
Elana says
Angela, thanks so much for letting me know these crackers were perfect :-)
Maria says
you don’t need a food processor. I mixed it by hand and then formed the dough with my hands. came together easily. I have a small food processor, but seemed unnecessary.
Sue says
