Followed the link to these this morning from your Paleo Thanksgiving menu, but I couldn’t wait until Thanksgiving to make them! Thankfully, I had all the ingredients on hand to bake them right away. They were so quick and easy to make, and best of all, delicious!
Denise says
Thank you so much for these! They are terrific ~ made mine smaller and froze the remaining ones. They make a great quick breakfast with eggs or late night snack with peanut butter. The touch of honey is the perfect amount, especially in my smaller biscuits.
Elana says
Denise, I’m so happy to hear these are terrific!

Hi Elana,
I hope this message finds you well.
I just made these biscuits this morning.
We ate trying to find low sugar snacks or breakfast choices to satiate my 9 year old who has Autism.
I think they turned out fantastic.
Could they be made with baking powder? Or without baking soda and powder to have a crispier texture?
Thank You for sharing.
Take Care
Kelly
Elana says
Kelly, thanks for your comment! I haven’t cooked with baking soda since 2001 so not sure :-)
Denise says
You mean baking powder? Or soda?
Elana says
Denise, baking soda as specified in the recipe :-)
Denise says
Hi, Elena ~
I’m new to Keto, and just found your page. Yay !
I live in Longmont, and I’m hoping that your recipes are high-altitude friendly since you’re next door in Boulder ~
Thank you !
Elana says
Denise, so nice to meet you here! My recipes work at both high altitude and sea level :-)

Elana, have you ever made your biscuits using a nut flour blend? Or do you have a biscuit recipe that uses a nut flour blend? I have a some mixed that I’d like to use up, and have been craving something like these biscuits. Not wanting anything resembling a cookie… Thanks in advance!
Elana says
Ali, thanks for your comment! I haven’t created any recipes using a nut flour blend cause I try to keep things as simple as possible with very few ingredients :-)
Lori says
Being on Paleo, I seem to make a lot of recipes that call for coconut oil. While I love coconut, I am feeling a little “overloaded” with coconut flavor. I use unrefined coconut oil. Would switching to refined coconut oil diminish the flavor of coconut providing a more “neutral” taste? Are there any negatives to using the refined version? Love, love, love these biscuits! Thanks for all you do!
Susan says
I am very allergic to stevia. What can I use as a substitute for the stevia in your recipes? Is it just enough to use natural vanilla or do I need to add additional sweetener of some kind?
Elana says
Susan, I haven’t tried making my recipes without stevia so not sure. Feel free to experiment and let us know what works :-)
Jen says
Is this keto even with the honey in it? What’s the carb/fat/protein content of these? Thanks!

Hi,
I noticed in one of the comments that Bob’s almond flour does not work well in this recipe because it is coarser. Bob’s is what I have on hand. Would it help to sift the flour before measuring?
Thank you!
Elana says
Lori, thanks for your comment! For more on that please go here:

New to your fabulous website. The biscuits were so easy to make, thank you for that. Although they don’t appear to have risen as high as the picture shows, the texture was amazing. I added 2 Tablespoons of nutritional yeast for a cheesy flavor. The honey I reduced to 1 teaspoon. Perfect!!
Elana says
Lisa, thanks for your comment and for letting me know these were perfect!
