Hi! I absolutely love these biscuits. We don’t eat wheat in our household, and I’ve tried a few other recipes, these are my favorite. So simple and delicious. Thanks!
Elana says
Nathalie, thanks for letting me know you absolutely love these biscuits!
Jaime says
I’ve made these a few times with the straight recipe and love them. Tonight, I decided to change it up a little. I added in the Everything Bagel Seasoning from Trader Joes – a little inside and then put it on top before baking. They turned out great, so I had to pass on the tip!
Elana says
Thanks Jaime! I’m so happy to hear you love this biscuit recipe :-)
Carmen says
Can you make and freeze these? It would be nice to make a big batch and defrost as needed. They were so delicious!
Rita says
Hi Elana! Thank you for this delicious recipe! Do you melt the coconut oil or just leave it at room temperature? Unfortunately, my biscuits didn’t rise and I’m wondering if it’s because of the melted coconut oil.
Elana says
Rita, thanks for your comment. This recipe will work with melted or room temperature coconut oil. It sounds like the issue may be the brand of almond flour you used. Here are the ones that work in my recipes:

Thank you so much for your reply Elana! I did use the Honeyville brand (I bought it for the your Paleo 2.0 Bread). I replaced the celtic sea salt with himalayan salt and omitted the honey. Maybe those two changes caused the biscuits to fall flat? Either way they tasted great….just more of cookie consistency my first time making them. :)
Elana says
Rita, unfortunately when you start changing the recipe you also start changing the results. If you use the honey called for in this recipe the biscuits will be perfect :-)
Shane says
Hi Elana! I absolutely love your page! Whenever I need a good recipe, your website is the first thing I go to. However, I have a good friend who has a nut allergy – do you have a biscuit recipe that uses coconut flour or another non-nut flour? Thank you!
