      • I am not nut free only almond free I can use cashews which I usually use instead of almonds but wasn’t sure if it would work in your recipe but I will try and see what happens

        • Ruth, thanks for your reply! My recipes work every time because I test them dozens of times. When you change the ingredient, you change the recipe, if I don’t test it, I have no way of knowing if it will turn out. So sorry I cannot test everything for everyone!!! Please stop back by and let me know if it works :-)

  1. I LOVE your GF Almond Flour Cookbook! how do I locate the calories per serving for the recipes? Particularly the sesame crackers and chocolate chip cookies. Thank you :)

    • Roberta, thanks so much for your comment! I’m happy to help you troubleshoot this recipe with you so that it comes out perfectly.

  2. Elana,
I have to say these crackers have converted many of my friends and family to the keto diet. Once they realized they could have amazing tasting crackers they wanted to know more. I make a batch every week for our house. We use them for chicken salad, cheese, egg salad and dips. I followed someone else’s suggestion and replaced a 1/4 cup of almond flour for flaxseed meal. I toast my sesame seeds and use sesame oil. I divide the dough into 4 balls and roll out very thin. I sprinkle salt and garlic pepper seasoning on the top before baking. I generally bake 8-10 mins or until a golden brown. THANK YOU so much for creating this recipe!!!!

  3. I am thrilled to have found your site. I would like to make Almond Flour crackers to munch on during Passover but I’m a little confused by the recipe. After I roll out the dough and slice the crackers how do I get the crackers onto baking pan? Do I just put the parchment paper on the pan with the cracker dough together and sliced? Help please!!!

  4. Could you please tell me why you say not Meal when the recipe calls for Almond Flour. I find it really hard to buy Almond Flour and when I do it is twice the price of the Almond meal.

  5. Hi Elana:)

We have egg, gluten, wheat and milk issues. I have used flax meal to replace eggs in the past. I also have guar gum and xanthem (sp?) gum. What do you recommend for your crackers?

    Thanks!

PS…I just found your website and am anxious to get deeper into it!!
