I have a new favorite green juice recipe. Although I’ve never done a full on green juice diet or green juice detox, I think that green juice has major benefits and drink it several days every week. I feel so healthy when I get a big bowl of vegetables into my diet, in liquid form, in addition to the veggies I eat all day long.
I found a mojito green juice recipe over on one of my favorite websites, Dr. Frank Lipman. The recipe on his site calls for spinach, I’ve changed it up a bit by using parsley instead. Whichever way you make it, I think you’ll find this green juice completely refreshing, and you’ll feel wonderful after you drink it.
Mojito Green Juice
Ingredients
- 1 small bunch mint
- 1 small bunch parsley
- 1 lime
- ½ inch fresh ginger
- 2 cucumbers
- 1 green apple
Instructions
- Push mint, parsley, lime, ginger, cucumbers, and apple through a juicer
- Serve
Equipment
While I used to have a Green Star juicer, I found that it took quite a long time to push the vegetables through and even longer to clean it. I recently switched over to this Breville juicer and am absolutely in love with it. It’s so easy to use that I juice several times per week, even when I’m on the go.
Here are some of my other favorite juice recipes:

Dont bother with a nutri-bullet, they come with orings… all five of them wore out in about one year where i worked as caregiver for the grandmom. These companies love it when you order more oring replacements.

Lori, I use a Breville juicer for this recipe and it works great :-)

I’m a bit surprised you do not use a single auger masticating juicer, especially for greens. There us no comparison. Fir mire green juice, less oxidation, more nutrition. Overall no comparison. For future readers. Yes centrifugal is faster, but far less positive results, and more clean up. Maybe fir carrots, that’s it.
Omega best way to go.

Hi Donna, I had a Green Star which produces a much higher quality juice than the Breville that I now use, but wow, it took ages to make the juice and even longer to clean! I’ll look into single auger masticating juicers. Thanks for your comment :-)

Hi Elana, yes, the Omega single auger is really the way to go. Waaaay, back had a Juiceman, haha, I mean way back when he was the only one around, he knew something back when, then went to another centrifugal, but as I learned years ago single auger, no comparison. And truly, the ckean up is zero compared to all the pieces of centrifugal juicers. Admittedly it’s not as quick but it’s worth a couple more minutes.
I will be making this recipe. Ty. Hope your pleased if you give it a try. Xo
