Nutrition Information for Recipes in Paleo Cooking

Here’s a quick update and thank you to my fans. I’m truly grateful that so many of you supported my latest book, Paleo Cooking from Elana’s Pantry, buying copies for yourself, family, and friends! As a special thanks I’ve provided you with the nutrition information for the recipes in this New York Times best selling cookbook!

This paleo cookbook contains a collection of close to 100 recipes for breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert. Although counting calories and macro-nutrients is not a practice I follow, many on the Low-Carb Diet and Keto Diet do so. I’ve received amazing feedback about this book. By providing nutrition information I’m giving additional value to my loyal customers.

Because there are so many low-carb recipes that are Keto Diet friendly in this paleo cookbook, I’ve also provided the ratios of fats to protein and carbohydrates combined, which is the standard practice for calculating macro-nutrients on the Ketogenic Diet.

  4. Thank you, Elana. This is helpful for the carb and fat counts. I also monitor calories because “not worrying about them” as many suggest doesn’t work for me! My body likes to gain weight.

    I want to thank you for all of your wonderful recipes and cookbooks! I was diagnosed celiac in 2010 and I found your website the following year thank god!! before I found you I was really struggling trying to find something gf that didn’t taste like cardboard! LOL! those were some rough days! for my husband also because bless his heart he ate what I ate:) your website and cookbooks gave me hope that food could taste good again! and it did thanks to you!! so for the many hours of cooking recipes over and over until you are satisfied with them I thank you! and also my husband thanks your husband and children for being the Guinea pigs so he didn’t have to be one !!   7. Thank you for sharing the nutritional information for your most recent cookbook. I just ordered the cookbook and have always enjoyed your recipes. Having the nutritional information helps those of us with diabetes calculate insulin doses more accurately.
