While this warm, gluten free applesauce is a delicious condiment, it’s also scrumptious on its own as a mouthwatering snack or dessert.

this recipe is so simple, but the applesauce turned out really good. it has so much flavor and the best part is that it requires no extra sugar! thanks!

Elana, growing up both my hubby and I did not like homemade applesauce.
When I saw your recipe I realized that both our Mums would cook the apples and not really peal or core it that well either…and it was just bland or not tasty….and my Mum was a good cook other than the apple sauce.
We bought apple sauce for the kids for a long time and I tried to make my own but of course I too cooked it..
This Friday for our Friday night’s dessert I made your roasted apple sauce. My what a huge difference. My 15 year old who isn’t big on home desserts (especially since we try to eat healthy desserts) finished 3 bowls of the stuff. The 12 year old still isn’t convinced but hubby is.
I added an extra cinnamon stick as my cinnamon sticks were thinner and mixed between two types of apples. This is going to be a staple for sure. My 15 year old said Mum use this sauce and make an apple pie another time.
Right now I have your Paleo Banana bread in my oven. Love your recipes and they do work in Israel too.

What kind of apples would you use if accompanying the latkes?
