Gluten Free Thanksgiving 2010

I’ve had so much fun over the last few weeks making various Thanksgiving dishes and dinners for my family –we’ve had several mini-Thanksgiving celebrations to date in preparation for the below menu.  So, as you can imagine, the following are my favorites.  I have compiled these gluten free dishes into one big, healthy, delicious Thanksgiving menu.  I hope you all enjoy these dishes as much as we have.  Happy Thanksgiving!

I want to point out to all you CrossFitters and Paleo people that just about all of the recipes above are CrossFit and Paleo friendly.  Regardless of the eating plan that you follow, what will you be making this Thanksgiving?  What is your favorite T-day dish?  Mine was, and probably always will be (even though I do not partake in it anymore) my Mom’s baked sweet potatoes with pineapple and marshmallows on top.

  1. I think my favorite Tgiving dish is pumpkin pie…no, mashed potatoes…wait no I love sweet potato casserole!! Ahh, I can’t decide, I love it all :)

  2. Unfortunately we don’t celebrate Thanksgiving in the Netherlands, but my favourite holiday dish would be my mom’s Malaysian lemon chicken curry. It makes me feel good instantly.
By the way, your Pumpkin Pie Muffins inspired me to make my own version, as I try to bake everything purely fruit-sweetend:
They didn’t completely work out the way I wanted them to, but I’m working on it.
These would make a great Thanksgiving dessert, especially with some cinnamon ice-cream.
    Thanks for inspiring me!
