I’m on a gluten free cupcake mission, as you can see from the photo above and my other recent posts for Jelly Donut Cupcakes and Coconut Key Lime Cupcakes.
The boys are thrilled when they get home from school and the house looks like its ready for a birthday party. And I’m thrilled to see them with frosting all over their cute little faces.

These gluten free muffins taste like cinnamon rolls and make the perfect breakfast treat!

In a break from all inauguration news all the time, I present you with these chewy, yet crispy ginger cookies!
2 ½ cups blanched almond flour
½ teaspoon celtic sea salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
2 tablespoons ground ginger
½ cup grapeseed oil or palm shortening
¼ cup yacon syrup
½ cup agave nectar or honey
1 tablespoon lemon zest

These gluten free Pumpkin Pie Muffins are, of course, a favorite of my younger son. When he was little, he ate so much pumpkin and winter squash that he turned a slightly orange hue. Luckily, he’s back to normal now.
I often forget how much I love cooking with pumpkin until fall arrives. Well, fall is back and I have been using this vegetable with a vengeance.

Healthy, gluten free, potato free latke recipe for Hanukkah.
Hanukkah is a day away and that means only one thing: fried food! Lots of it. Yum. I love a good crispy latke, or just about anything fried for that matter.

Fall is a full time of year; especially for a Jewish family with children in a Waldorf school. Last week we celebrated Rosh Hashannah (Jewish New Year), yesterday was Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and this coming Friday is Succot, the fall harvest festival celebrating the bounty provided to the Jews during 40 years wandering the dessert after the Exodus from Egypt.
