Although I don’t drink alcohol, I do enjoy indulging in a sparkling beverage at festive events.
This little fruit based treat below is perfect for adults and children on special occasions. My boys love it, as do I. Here, I use pineapple juice, though feel free to use any juice of your choice and garnish with your favorite citrus or other fruits.

There was a distinct chill in the air last night which lead me to put on slippers and make a cup of gluten free, dairy free hot chocolate. This quick and easy beverage can be simply made from scratch in a matter of minutes.
¼ cup (raw) cashews
1 cup water (room temperature)
1 tablespoon cacao powder
1 tablespoon agave nectar or honey

My birthday party last weekend was great fun. The only snafu? Excess victuals. There must have been 1 pie per person in attendance at our gathering. Baseball is indeed over. However, all-stars have begun and my son and several of his little cohorts are on the team. We are now therefore faced with practice daily from 5:30 to 7:30. Thank goodness I am not coaching!

I have been guzzling gallons of my favorite summer beverage during this hot spell. It’s another easy one, and better yet, has no sugar or artificial sweeteners.
How’s that possible? See for yourself…
2 quarts water
¼ cup lemon juice (fresh squeezed)
4 dropper-fulls stevia
Fill a 2 quart mason jar with water, almost to the top, leaving 2 inches of space for other ingredients
Add lemon juice and 4 dropper-fulls of stevia
