We had a great Labor Day weekend with lots of festivities. In fact, my older son turned 12 during the weekend and we celebrated in various ways with lots of his friends. It was an absolutely delightful time.
Now, though, it’s a bit of a zany week; a 2 day work week, given that Monday was a holiday and that Rosh Hashanah begins Wednesday evening at sundown. We will be in synagogue Thursday and Friday, so there is an extra lot to get done today and tomorrow.
Part of what I’m doing is planning my Rosh Hashanah menu (see below); then of course there’s the cooking, which I love. We will be having our friends Ron and Tova (and their girls) over for the holiday which will be a lot of fun.
