Is the recipes are all with nuts? Because paleo frequently use nuts instead of wheat… I’m intolerant to nuts …

I have both of your other books and I probably would have purchased your third… until I saw night-shade free and now I can guarantee that I will be buying your book! Can’t wait. And dairy-free thank you!!!

  16. Hope says

I love the blog and have cooked a few recipes this past year from the paleo selection and they’ve all been keepers. Now I’m really excited by the thought of a whole cookbook of paleo recipes that are nightshade free, definitely on my to buy list! So wonderful that Eleana’s really listened to the responses to her question about what cookbook is missing from our shelves. Lovely to hear that many of them are nut and egg free too since I can’t eat either. Also wanted to thank Eleana for her part in making my husband’s Christmas a really special one this year. He tried out baking for the first time in 50 years with your Christmas Cake recipe and also your Honey Cake and your Pecan Pie Crust for homemade mince pies. He was astonished to find he can bake! Everything rose like it should and tasted heavenly apparently. Knowing how wonderful and trustworthy your recipes are I was a lot less surprised ;-). Next weekend he plans on making the honey cake again for a church social…

  17. Saundra says

I’m so excited for you and me both! So glad to see the recipes are nightshade free as well!!! Most recipes I find call for peppers and tomatoes. Thanks for all your hard work. Can’t wait to own your 3rd book to add to my cookbook shelf along with your other two books.

  18. says

Awesome! My wife has been using your writings as a resource since we went gluten free two years ago. We’re about to make the Paleo jump – right on time, I guess!

  19. Heather says

Nightshade free too!!! I am avoiding gluten for my joint pain and my youngest daughter is allergic to dairy and tomatoes. We definitely need this. It’s so easy to find gf and df but add in the tomato thing and we always have trouble finding good recipes.

  20. Tressa says

Preordered mine and I can’t wait! I’m doing a 90 day challenge right now at Crossfit and I’m hoping to stick with it. Hurry up June!

  21. Carol Nathan says

I just pre-ordered. I am so excited. I am very intrigued (along with a lot of other people) by what appears to be bagels on the cover. Elana can you tell those are?

  22. Liz N. says

Elana, I am so, so excited for the release of this book! June can’t come fast enough. I’ve used your cookbooks and blog for gluten-free recipes but once I started seeing Paleo recipes on your blog, I was ecstatic! The Paleo diet complements my physical activity (CrossFit, running) and I am always searching for new recipes to try out. Thank you for sharing this bit of great news. I’m going to pre-order the book today!

  23. Mary says

Definitely going to order this book. Your recipes are fantastic and I’d love to have them compiled and in my kitchen! :)

  24. Kim says

    Oh. my. goodness.
I am beyond excited for this, Elana you have the absolute best cookbooks and I have pre-ordered this one without hesitation from Amazon.ca, my only regret is that I have to wait til June to read it!! Looking forward to it immensely! I hope you are already hard at work on your 4th cook book!

Just pre-ordered you Paleo book on Amazon… the release date just happens to be my Birthday – Happy Birthday to me!! Thank you for all of your hard work :)

  27. says

WOW! I was so excited to see that your new book will be nightshade -free! Thank you for making that special effort. I love night shades, but they do not love me back. :( not even for Valentines Day….. A one sided relationship. Can’t wait for this book! Good Luck and congrats!

  28. Cathy says

    Elana,

I have your other books. I cannot wait to get this new cookbook! I have pre-ordered it, and I usually don’t do things like that. Is there any special equipment needed for these recipes? (Like the special size bread pan.) I want to have them on hand when I receive the book so I can get cooking right away. I still cannot get over the bagels on the cover!

You have been a tremendous help to so many people with food issues. This is really the only site that I go to for recipes because you have everything I need.

And, to think that when I first visited, I had never heard of Paleo.

Thank you so much for all of your hard work.

    Cathy

Thank you so much for your wonderful comment. Below, I have composed a list of the most common items needed for the cookbook:

      • 12 count muffin pan
      • 6 count donut pan
      • 7×3-inch loaf pan
      • 5×3-inch mini loaf pan
      • 2 quart baking dish with a lid

      Thanks again for your comment!

  29. Shelley says

Oh man! I have to wait until June to get it!!! So excited to get this. I have your other two books and use them all the time.

  30. Jennifer Robbins says

I’m so excited for your next book! I love that the recipes are also nightshade free since I recently discovered that nightshade are likely a problem for me as well as having celiac disease. I have both of your other books and I so love them. Especially your first book which changed the way I cook and bake. Thanks so much for creating these wonderful recipes!
