Coconut cream is an amazingly rich dairy-free cream that comes from coconut milk.
I am often asked how to “make” coconut cream. All you need to do is refrigerate a can of coconut milk overnight, then open the can and scoop the cream off of the top. You can either discard the coconut “water” that is underneath the coconut cream or reserve it for another use such as cooking or making smoothies.
I use coconut cream in my recipes for Dairy Free Chocolate Mousse, Pumpkin Spiced Lattes, and Pumpkin Whipped Cream.
