Giveaway: Vitamix

Because I am so grateful to all of my amazing readers, I am doing a very special giveaway just in time for the holidays. What is it? One of my all time favorite kitchen appliances…a Vitamix.

The Vitamix is one of the most useful (and unfortunately pricey) kitchen tools in the world! You can use it to make smoothies, ice cream batter, salad dressing, soups and so much more! I want one of you, my awesome readers, to have this incredibly useful tool in your very own kitchen.

This giveaway is open to all of my Facebook followers. To enter, simply “like” my post about this giveaway directly on Facebook. Feel free to share this post as well, although that is not a requirement for entry. There is no need to leave a comment here or on Facebook. The randomly chosen Facebook follower will win the 5200 series Vitamix. The winner will be selected at random on Monday, November 11, at 5pm MST.

Click this link to see all of my Vitamix recipes. Here are 5 of my favorite Vitamix recipes:

This giveaway is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook.

UPDATE: This giveaway is now over. The winner of the Vitamix was Kathy Marsden. Thanks to everyone who participated!

I’ve been really enjoying all your gluten-free recipes and I’ve become very interested in the paleo diet as well. Thank you so much for all your information and fun recipes. I’ve been wanting a vitamix for such a long time, but the price tag has always prevented me from getting one. Hoping I can win one instead! :) Thanks so much again!

  4. Karen Stonebraker says

I would love to win the vitamix. After a stressful two years of traveling repeatedly out of state with my husband to care for his mother who has cancer and dementia and dealing with family members who have not been helpful, I am finally able to take some time to care for myself (I have Celiac, Chronic Fatigue Syndrome and Fibromyalgia), I have finally decided with my hubbys support to take care of my health and have enrolled in zumba classes and am now changing my diet (and his) for the better, incorporating healthy foods and such. The vitamix would be a huge help and a blessing!!! Thank you for the opportunity to enter to win it~~~ Love all of your emails!!

  5. Becky says

I would love to enter this contest … have been looking at a vitamix for a few years but never seem to have the money for one. I do juice as much as I can but can’t make all the wonderful things that a vitamix can.

I would love to win a vitamix! I have a hard time making our family favorite Paleo Pumpkin bars with our current blender. This would be a great addition to our family! Also I wanted to let you know that I have been sharing your recipes with other gluten-intolerant people. We are not gluten-intolerant, but as a family we strive to eat healthy! Your website is the best!

  12. Heather says

Good Morning! I woke up to this email this morning and immediately got excited! I have just been told I have a gluten allergy and I am still in the process of learning what that really means. I’m feeling very discouraged and angry because the foods I enjoy the most are the ones I am supposed to cut out (or modify). Your website have been helpful thus far. I would love the chance to win the Vitamix to start making some of these recipes and maybe stop feeling like I will never eat anything delicious again! :) Thank you!

  13. Deb Martinez says

Really love anything I’ve tried from your emails and website.
I have all your books too, love them.

  14. Kamelia Szarowicz says

Ever since being diagnosed with Gastroparesis in March 2013, I have been working very hard at eliminating triggers. Gluten has been a huge trigger and I am thankful it is out of my life. Digestion is still difficult and nutritious smoothies would definitely be a plus. Only problem is my antique blender can’t cut it and the powerful blenders on the market are way out of our budget. I would love this Vitamix to help me further on this road to healing my digestion.
THANK YOU for the opportunity to such a valuable item!

  15. Nancy Liguori says

I love your website and recipes. I have many medical problems and my diet is very restricted. The Vitamix would allow me to vary my diet a bit, since all of my food must be “soft”…my budget is too “soft” to buy a Vitamix, but winning one would be just awesome. Thank you for offering all of us the opportunity to win such a grand prize! And thank you for guiding us in our dietary creativity. You are awesome!

  16. Kaydee says

This would be an amazing item to have in our kitchen, we have some serious food allergies, and have to make everything from flour to milks, applesauce and we do lots and lots of soups. We are heading to a GAPS diet to see if it will help, and this could rally help!

  17. Stephanie Wilson says

My cheapo blender just broke, so I am in dire need!! I would love, love, love to finally have a vitamix!

  18. Venus Acosta says

  19. Katkin says

Green smoothies, red soup, yellow juices, purple cocktails!!! Yummy, I hope so! I love your recipes, and love your book. Thank you, all very inspiring and helpful. X

  20. misty says

Elana, you are awesome! Your brownies are the best ever, by the way. By far, my favorite gluten free/high protein recipe.

    • Angel says

Recently diagnosed with Celiac. The extra cost of making everything from scratch make it impossible for me to purchase a Vitamix. Love your recipes. Would make life easier if I had a vitamix. Giving an opportunity for someone to win a vitamix who can’t afford one is generous and thoughtful. Would love to win.

  21. Betty says

I have to say I love your recipes. I have been a fan for awhile now and have decided to order your cookbook from amazon as I have two Kindles and they are easier to carry around than a hard book. Any way really like your ideas for a vita mix give away. I have already wore one out. Had it for 15 years. Your website is my go to site for recipes. Thanks for sharing your amazing recipes.

  22. Kathie Douglas says

I have wanted one of the Vita Mix blenders for years, but just couldn’t afford one. They are with out a doubt the very best blender made. I have serious digestive issues caused by my boosted cancer treatments for a stage 4 colon cancer. I ended up with intestinal failure, short bowel syndrome, radiation enteritis, and malnutrition. I have found that if food can be totally broken down to it’s smallest component I stand a bit of a chance of absorbing just a bit. It is a lifelong battle trying to maintain my weight and health. The vita mix would make an incredible help in this. Thank you.

  23. Arleen says

I already entered this awesome giveaway over on Facebook but had to hop over here and Thank You for this opportunity.

  24. Sandra Alvarez says

I’ve been diagnosed with RA Rhumetoid Arthritis a year and a half ago and I’ve have changed the way I eat. Using the recipes from Elena’s Pantry Paleo Diet has helped enormously. I’ve been able to lose 70lbs the healthy way which makes it easier on my body. The recipes are a true blessing.

  28. Linda says

Enjoy watching all your workouts & I’ve been doing them as well. Thnx so much!!! Don’t own one but live to win it!!!’

  29. RIna says

Elena, what a lovely gift to offer your fans!

My dear departed dad introduced me to Vitamix about 32 years ago. He was really impressed with the Vitamix capabilities and I bought one. I was a vegetarian at the time so it really helped with quickly whipping up veggie soups and juices. My treasured old Vitamix is worn out so I rarely use it. Vitamix is still a wonderful quality item after all these years!

A compliment to your luscious banana bread recipe – all our home grown bananas have been turned into wonderful baked goodies and handed out to family and friends, with some loaves/muffins stuck in the freezer for future treats. I make some batter into muffins with chocolate chunks/chips for our elderly mothers and adult children to indulge themselves. Our families love the moist banana bread recipe! Friends still can’t believe there is no flour in the banana bread.

I don’t participate in social networks such as Facebook or Twitter but wanted to say how much your recipes and insights have helped me improve my health over the last several years since I discovered Elana’s Pantry.

  30. PAT says

I would love to have a Vitamix. I have been using other brands which do not have a long life span nor do they handle frozen ingredients well.

  31. Jeanie says

Elana, what a fabulous gift. It’s been on my wishlist for a long time, and I am keeping my fingers crossed I’ll win!

  32. Jo Anna Strong says

  33. Debra Viola says

Revamping my clan’s diet going into the winter. Hoping to have everyone in tip top health before the nasties (bugs, flus etc,) begin to arrive. A healthy diet is the foundation of good health and I am excited about using your recipes. Whoever said good, nutritious food could not be delicious hasn’t seen your recipes. Thanks so much for the inspiration.
    *Peace* Debra

  40. karen says

Just saw your cookbook posted. Is your receipes gluten free? Daughter has parkinson at 36 with a toddler and I was wondering if gluten free would help her and be good for my grandson.

  41. says

I think there’s a deeper truth to Christmas than Santa. I think the jolly old fella should be replaced by a growing, collective, universal list of PEOPLE (with, or without, a cuddly red, fur-trimmed suit), who give out of a heart of compassion. Sometimes the gift is obligatory, but the TRUE celebration should be the sacrificial gift. Maybe it’s time to reflect on the origin of THAT message, instead of a “benefactor ” who has an unlimited amount of supply, and a lot a little people in pointy hats that do all the work.

  42. Lori says

Oh how I wish it were mine! I don’t use Facebook sad to say :(. Nice of you to do though, Elana. I just LOVE your breakfast bar recipe. I make it several times a week! I didn’t read your directions too close and didn’t use a food processor. Just put it all together in a bowl and mixed it up. But I love it that way – the whole seeds are very pleasing to my palate!
