I received my order from nutsonline.com that included hazelnuts for your recipe that mimics Nutella. I found directions to remove the skins in Sally Fallon’s “Nourishing Traditions”: Roast the hazelnuts in 300 degree oven till they become a darker brown, fragrant, and the skins begin to crack. It took about 40 minutes. Then gather the nuts and wrap in a towel tightly. After rubbing and squeezing for a while, most of the skins came off. Tonight I am soaking the nuts in salted water and will dry them in the oven tomorrow before making the recipe. I can hardly wait!

Wow! I’d love to try those ingredients! I just bought some blanched almond flour and am finally going to dive into your first book and bake some goodies! By the way, I used to dislike cashews but got brave and made your cashew milk – wow – couldn’t believe how good it was. Certainly would be good in smoothies!
