The fabulously savvy Kim Maes over at Cook It Allergy Free has developed a fantastic allergen free iPhone/iPad app and today I’m happy to be giving it away to two lucky winners!
Now, I may not be the most technologically advanced person in the world, though thankfully, my children are. One day, my younger son pulled up this amazing app and started flipping through it; then he decided we needed to make the Apple Walnut Pancakes, which by the way were […]

I’ve been a huge fan of AIicia Silverstone since I first saw her in the teen flick Clueless many years ago. So I was tickled last fall when she featured my Vegan Herb Crackers recipe on her food blog The Kind Life.
Although Silverstone and I do food differently (she is a devoted vegan, I follow a modified Paleo eating plan); I am quite an admirer of how she has used her celebrity to promote social causes. […]

I have a fun double chocolate gluten free give away today for 2 lucky chocolate winners. Each winner will receive four 8-ounce bags of Dagoba Chocodrops and four 8-ounce canisters of Dagoba cacao powder. I’m hoping this giveaway will inspire chocoholics everywhere to bake up delicious dark chocolate treats for friends and family.
Dark chocolate is often considered a super food; this is because chocolate is a plant derived food that contains many of the health benefits of dark vegetables. Chocolate is […]

Today I am giving away a brand new food processor from Cuisinart. The 12-Cup Food Processor from the Cuisinart Elite Collection™ to be exact. This is not the Cuisinart I have in my kitchen. It is in fact, better than the one I have in my kitchen. I have had my Cuisinart since before my children were born, and my older son is almost 13.
I am very attached to my Cuisinart food processor. In fact, the Cuisinart and Vita-Mix are […]

To ring in the new year I have another amazing giveaway –a 4-quart saute pan from All-Clad. As I mentioned in a previous post, I received almost an entire set of All-Clad pots and pans when I was married in 1995. Cooking equipment made by All-Clad holds up amazingly well and I’m so grateful for the wedding gifts we received from friends and family. We just cracked out our china last year, though that’s another story entirely.

Just in case I didn’t make it perfectly clear from my Spiced Pecans and Cinnamon Pecan Brittle posts, I’m madly in love with Dorie Greenspan’s latest book Around My French Table –it’s quite a collection of recipes.

Today I’m giving away a copy of The Spunky Coconut Grain-Free Baked Goods and Desserts: Gluten Free, Casein Free, and Often Egg Free by Kelly of The Spunky Coconut. This is an amazing cookbook, whether you’re gluten free or not. I love Kelly’s food. It’s delicious and I find her cooking just a bit healthier than mine –which is a good thing.
I had the luxury of eating actual recipes from this book made by Kelly herself. They were all delectable. My […]

Guess what?! I’m giving away a 2-Quart Saucepan from All-Clad. This sized saucepan probably wins the “most used pot” award in my kitchen. I use it for everything from Chai and Hot Chocolate to Butternut Squash Soup and Cranberry Sauce –it gets a lot of play around here and I love having it in my kitchen.

Today I’m super stoked to offer you all the chance to win a Vitamix 5200, my favorite high powered blender. I’ve had my very own Vitamix for 11 years; The whole family enjoys its features and we put it to use several times a day, no joke!
I use my Vitamix for literally everything from soups to smoothies to dressings to pancakes. It is also my go to kitchen tool when making homemade nut milks.

Today I’m giving away a brand new Chili Red Classic Teakettle from Chantal. I have an exact “replica” of this tea kettle in my kitchen; it is gorgeous and functional, adding a bright spot of color to my favorite room in the house.
We use it throughout the day and well into the night for boiling up water for tea, and it gets the job done. I’ve had my kettle for over a decade and don’t plan on trading it in […]
