Low carb gluten free kelp noodles with sesame sauce make the perfect Paleo treat.
Back in the 1990’s, before I was gluten free, I ordered my fair share of sesame noodles from greasy Chinese restaurants. That was when I lived in New York City. Even though it’s been a long time since I’ve eaten in a Chinese restaurant, that hankering for a good gluten free sesame noodle recipe has never gone away, so I’m happy to have created this one after […]

This Pad Thai is one of my family’s favorite dishes. Add a heap of grilled chicken or sea food and you have a delicious high protein meal.
I purchase my noodles at the Asian market in town and haven’t seen them online. If you are looking for noodles, you’ll need to check out the Asian markets in your neck of the woods. If anyone knows of a good source for mung bean noodles that would be accessible to everyone (think Whole […]

It has been so hot here –Sunday was a scorching 104 degrees. Because of the toasty weather, I’ve been looking for quick, cool ways to get hits of protein.
Really, all I want to eat is fruit and lemon slushes these days. However, this white bean concoction has been a winner for the family during this hot spell. The boys have been scarfing it down plain and in quesadillas. My younger son absolutely loves it as does […]

Tonight I made sesame noodles. That old dish from the Chinese restaurants in New York. I didn’t think I’d be eating sesame […]

2 cups grated cheddar cheese
2 tablespoons butter
½ cup cream
1 tablespoon kudzu
2 cups steamed broccoli
extra grated cheese to drizzle over pasta
In a large pot, bring 12 cups of water to boil, then […]

Last night I spoke with Sean — one of the coolest people I know — and he mentioned that he missed seeing large photos with delicious recipes around here.
He just landed a huge new project, so I doubt he’ll be making pasta with broccoli anytime soon, though this tasty high-protein dish is an easy one, so maybe he’ll find the time.
Pasta with Broccoli
1 (7) oz. box Papadini Rotini Hi-Protein Pure Lentil Bean Pasta
2 tablespoons grapeseed oil
1 medium onion, sliced
1 head […]
