Boulder Book Signing

This morning I was on Fox’s Good Day Colorado in order to promote tonight’s book signing at Pharmaca in Boulder.

I love the folks over at Fox, they are a lot of fun and we had a good time on air making the Strawberry Shortcake recipe from my book,  The Gluten-Free Almond Flour Cookbook.  If you watch the footage above you will see that the shoot went well –other than the whipped cream incident, that is.  In the end, we all enjoyed scarfing down the shortcakes off camera after the segment.

So, If you are in Boulder tonight (Thursday, April 15th) I will be at Pharmaca on Pearl Street at 6:30pm for a book signing.

I will be bringing lots of gluten free goodies for everyone to sample from my book, including my high protein, dairy free, gluten free Chocolate Chip Cookies, my Zucchini Bread and possibly more if I can get off the computer and back into the kitchen.

Hope to see you all there!

    Hi Elana,

I just wanted to let you know that I was recently visiting the tiny (and gorgeous!) village of Fort Langley, BC, and came across your book! I bought it on the spot :) I love that it is compact and beautiful and that the recipes are quite simple. I’ll be sure to try one soon!

    All my best,

  2. Wow! Finally a voice to match the face! The segment went really well, and the whipped cream incident was comic relief. Fortunately, it was her mistake, not yours. You came off as a skilled whipped-cream saviour.

Hi Elana. I just bought your cook book and I LOVE it! It’s not complicated cooking using real ingredients which is perfect for a busy person like me.

Those looked spectacular. I bought your cookbook and am anxious to make so many of our recipes from it! You look fabulous–so tiny! Congratulations on the success of your book and website!

Good thing you were wearing a white shirt so the whip cream splatters didn’t stain! (It’s a cute top too!)
Hope you have lots of fun signing books tonight. I’m still waiting for your trip Northwest for your book tour, we have Pharmaca’s here too ya know! :-) Xoxo

  7. Hello Elana! I wanted to let you know that the other week I emailed Natural Solutions Magazine about doing an agave nectar controversy article and they emailed be back saying they are looking into it. I think they might do the article! I responded and told them about your blog, saying that you use it….I just got an email from the editor saying thank you for letting them know about your blog… I hope they contact you for the article! :) I just wanted to thank you for educating me about almond flour. I adore your recipes and cookbook and look forward to your future cookbooks! :) Happy cooking! –Annette

So very cool! I am proud of you, Elana! I’m so thankful that someone was daring enough to get some great, healthy, gluten-free recipes out there in the world! :) I must make at least one new recipe of yours a week and I just love it- and so does my husband who was certianly not used to eating heathfuly before! :) Thank you! You are wonderful!
